A Greener Albania Begins: EcoHub Starts Machinery Production for Glass Recycling
Made with up to 70% recycled glass, recovered from post consumer and industrial waste.
“Glass Recycling in Albania” is part of the incubator program “Incubation and Grant Management for Glass Waste” Lot23, implemented by Partners Albania for Change and Development within the EU for Circular Economy and Livable Cities project, co-financed by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and implemented by GIZ Albania in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and Environment.
The terrazzo shown in the photo is just one example, a beautiful and durable product created from what was once considered waste.
